My dad originally bought August for himself, but quickly learned that he was definately made to be a performance horse and would be better suited for me. Not that I was heart-broken over it, I agree that he has qualities that will make an incredible prospect for barrels. August is a Dappled Palamino with an awesome conformation. His Grand-sire is Doc 0 Lena on top and bred from Doc O Lena and 2 Eyed Jack on Bottom. He is incredibly smart and learns very quickly. He is full of energy and running seems to be his passion. I think having to wait another year or so to ride him is going to be the toughest part, but working with him until then will be really cool. I will be keeping this page updated to his progress. |
